Gear wear is a common fault that occurs in gear transmission system degrades the operating efficiency and may cause other catastrophic failures such as tooth breakage fatigue. The progressive of helical its influences on vibration responses are rarely investigated due to combined effects complicated lubrication state time-varying characteristic. To fill this gap, numerical study was put forward investigate interactions between dynamic response. In study, an Archard’s model with elastohydradynamic (EHL) effect adopted simulate wear, which incorporated eight-degree freedom for understanding at different degrees. shows mainly happens root relative high slide-to-roll ratio. modelling results demonstrate causes reduction mesh stiffness further leads more vibration.
